I was unsure of the removable base attachment, but Tiani 3 feels sturdy on the palm. Everything looks well-made, with an emphasis on practicality. As mentioned earlier, the vibrations feel intense for the size. “The pulses are more buzzy than rumbly, which can be a bummer for people who prefer the latter. The main reason is its redesigned shape with an O ring making it less intrusive and more cozy (you can see the O-ring design in the below image), a balance most wearable sex toys fail to strike. It came out on top among the hands-free vibes we reviewed, with impressive ratings from different members of our self-testing team.
Note: The new design took away the internal vibrating arm, so if you enjoy internal G-spot vibrations during sex, then this might not be the one for you.
The motor is impressive for its size. I believe it’s because it’s located on the clitoral arm which makes the vibrations more intense and precise. In addition, the shape means the rumbles reach the clitoral hood, clinging firmly to avoid loss of vibrations. And with the moderately quiet motor (34 – 48 decibels), you can use it confidently with minimal ambient noise to mask the noise.
We-Vibe Sync O’s design blends form and function perfectly. The designers traded internal G-spot sensations for comfort and practical long-term wear. I loved the tapered tip because it made it easy to insert Sync O into the vagina. In addition, the C-shape expands during penetrative sex to match your body shape and size while maintaining top-notch coziness.
Something else that stood out during the testing was the body-safe silicone material. Besides the soft finish, the material’s waterproof feature lets you explore uncharted grounds with undisturbed aquatic fun.
Note: Like other wearable sex toys, Sync O will work better for some people than others. The insertable arm is short, and people with a longer vaginal canal might find it unstable. In such cases, you must hold it in place to ensure it doesn’t pop off.
The build quality was like other We-Vibe sex toys in my collection (you can see my collection in the image above): excellent and dependable. I loved how small the sex toy was because it made it easy to travel with it. The small size also renders it comfortable to wear during penetrative sex.
We-Vibe Sync O’s solo button lets you cycle through the ten vibration patterns. “I’d have preferred at least two buttons to move up and down, as a single one can be annoying. However, the control interface and magnetic charging system make Sync O foolproof,” Sandra Larson commented.
Sync O comes with a remote controller for simplified control (circled in the image above). The cozy silicone finish feels incredible on the palm, and the raised buttons are easy to track even when multitasking. In addition, the sex toy is compatible with the We-Vibe app. Besides complementing long-distance play, the mobile app lets you explore customized patterns and bells and whistles like video chat and multi-vibe control.
Note: The vibrations aren’t the most powerful I’ve experienced, and rightfully so, but the intensity and consistency switch makes the experience an exciting whirlwind.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Sync O got fewer points for versatility compared to other We-Vibe siblings because it did away with internal vibrations. And while the improved comfort is a plus, people looking for intense G-spot stimulations might have to look elsewhere.
In addition, the included storage bag is a little too small for my liking. I’d have loved it if I could put the cord, remote controller, and hands-free vibrator in the bag.
Why We-Vibe Sync O is the most comfortable hands-free vibrator:

6. Lovense Vulse: Great For Thrusting!
Why we love Lovense Vulse:
We loved numerous things about the Lovense Vulse, but its self-propelling mechanism stood out. A hands-free sex toy is one thing, but the pleasures of having a thrusting model are unmatched said one of the testers.
“Vulse combines vibrations and thrusting movements, making solo masturbation more exciting and pleasurable. Jessica and I love mixing things up, and Vulse is up there with the top products in our sex toy collection,” Rachel Sommer wrote in her test report.
Unlike the conventional thrusting dildos, Lovense Vulse strikes an incredible balance between discreetness and functionality. The comparatively small-sized vibe has a series of ridges (you can see them in the image below) that expand and retract to propel the rounded head toward the G-spot. “It was a unique feeling with the vibrating ball drumming the G-spot back and forth in real-time,” confirms Sandra Larson.
Something else that stood out was the comfortable design. The tapered tip made inserting the toy straightforward. In addition, the bulbous body is tucked inside the vagina snugly, inducing a mild feeling of fullness.
Note: The ridges were non-invasive, and inserting the Vulse didn’t feel as uncomfortable as we’d anticipated. “I only needed a few drops of my water-based lube to get it over the line,” says Rachel Sommer.
Once tucked inside, Vulse clung on securely, and you won’t have to worry about it sliding out. Jessica and I took turns testing the Lovense Vulse and even had it on outdoors as we carried on with the day. Neither of us reported feeling uncomfortable or experiencing cases of occasional slipping out. We also loved how sturdy the extended tai felt and how easy it made it to retrieve the toy after use.
The vibrations were more buzzy than rumbly, which could be a problem for some users. “I prefer the latter, but that wasn’t a deal-breaker with the Lovense Vulse,” Sandra Larson told me. “The vibrations weren’t as powerful as the other rumbly toys we reviewed, but the thrusting movements complemented the experience, making up for the slight inconvenience.”
Lovense Vulse’s phenomenal build quality was too good to ignore. It felt sturdy on the hands, even with the squidgy silicone finish. We’ve reviewed numerous Lovense sex toys over the years, and like the rest, we did not doubt Vulse’s durability degree.
Something else that blew our minds was the Lovense Remote app’s efficiency (screenshots below). Besides being our favorite sex toy mobile application we’ve ever used; the user-friendly interface and responsiveness were a thing of beauty. There were multiple ways to take control of the vibrations and thrusting action, and pairing the two was bliss.
Besides the Loop function that lets you regulate the sensations by circling the screen with your finger, the mobile app offers hands-free control options like music sync and sound-activated response. The most exciting was the mode that synced the vibrator with your car. This way, the toy vibration intensity increased and decreased the faster or slower you went.
Note: For safety reasons, ensure you’re not the one driving the car. Add hands-free to your passenger princess perks and enjoy the bliss.
Lastly, noise rating ranged between 62.5dB and 65.9 dB. The range is similar to a normal conversation, but the persistent humming sound from the thrusting action meant Vulse was better suited indoors than outdoors. If you’re in the market for a hands-free sex toy for public play, Lush 4 above is a better option.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The #1 downside was the lack of independent motor control. Unfortunately, the vibrations and thrusting speeds work simultaneously, and there’s no way to regulate them separately. Most app-controlled sex toys offer exclusivity, but Lovense didn’t. And while most people will work with that, it can be annoying when you prefer one over the other during different stages of masturbation.
Another downside was the price. It ranges between $119 and $229, a high price, especially if it’s your first toy. Although it might mean giving up the combined thrusting and vibrating blend, consider getting a cheaper alternative if you’re on a budget.
Why Lovense Vulse is the best thrusting hands-free vibrator:
- Versatility: Merging thrusting and vibration functions made the Lovense Vulse stand out. Unlike other models we reviewed, it offered something unique for the thrill seeker looking for something more than the traditional internal stimulation. Even with the buzzy vibrations, the self-propelling mechanism made the G-spot orgasms ‘fuller’ and more satisfying.
